PUBLISHING

The publishing and music sync sectors in Ireland are vibrant and growing. As well as long established veterans serving legacy writers there is a rising trend toward self published artists and boutique publishing collectives striving to connect new talent with each other and international A&R. Similarly, an intensifying focus on sync as an additional income source, now more than ever, coupled with a flurry of new domestic talent, is drawing attention from overseas music supervisors and sync agents to our shores. Following our Ireland Music Week discussion, the publishing and sync members of AIM see this as a definite positive to be supported and nurtured and are committed to opening a dialogue to connect all parts of these vital sectors, gleaning institutional knowledge and finding synergy between currently fragmented groups.
